J. Wok & the Pedestrians won't stop "Funkin' It Up" in the Valley even after 4 years. With a nine-piece band and a 5-strong horn-line, the band continues to be the energetic powerhouse of funk in the area.
With their loud, large crowd-pleasing horn line J. Wok & the Peds plays a variety of genres including latin, jazz, soul, R&B, swing, rock and of course, FUNK. With such a diverse blend of music, J. Wok's fan base is nearly just as diverse: from college students to musicians to locals, anyone who enjoys music will find something to love about this band.
J. Wok and the Pedestrians frequently performs at The Funhouse, The Gander Room, Lehigh University and has also performed at Sundaze, Blue Bell Country Club, Muggs. They have played with acts such as The Wailers, Hello Goodbye, Boys Like Girls, RX Bandits and the Monterrey Jazz Festival 50th Anniversary All-Star Band. |
